ここ何回か、スケジュールが合わずに行けなかった「Akemi」のライブへ行ってきた。
本日は、阿佐ヶ谷Maxでのライブでした。
メンバーは、AKEMI(Vo)、新澤健一郎(Pf)、和泉聡志(Gt)でした。
1ステージの最初の曲は、「ジプシー」だったかな？
ミディアムテンポで、チック・コリアっぽいピアノのリフで始まった。
Akemiの声がライブハウスを覆うように広がる。
1ステージ目は、バラードが多かった。
2ステージ目は、ブルース、Jazz系の選曲 + バラード。
今回のステージは、Akemi + Piano + Guitar ということもあるのかもしれないが、バラードが多いステージだった。
彼女の澄んで声量のある声が、非常に印象的だった。
僕自身ギターを弾いているので、ついついギターが気になってしまうんだけど、和泉聡志氏が使っていたギターは、Gobson 330 のゴールドトップの様に見えた。ちょっと色に関しては、光の関係でそう見えたのかもしれないが・・・。
シングルのピックアップが小気味よいサウンドを出していた。
彼女のライブは今回が初めてだったんだけど、次回は、ドラム、ベースの入ったユニットで聞いてみたいと思う。

次回、9月に、ベースの江口さんとのユニットがあるそうです。
その時には、是非、行きたいですね♪
